MISHAWAKA — Two people were injured Sunday morning in an accident that sent one vehicle into a building.

A South Bend Tribune reporter on the scene said around 11 a.m. a woman was driving westbound on Lincoln Way when her car collided with a moving van headed south on Main Street.

The impact sent the woman's car into a building behind the Phoenix Bar and Grill. She was seriously injured, according to the Tribune reporter, and was transported to the hospital.

The van's driver received minor injuries. He was also taken to the hospital.

Police have blocked off the area while they investigate the crash.
