Mentone man killed in motorcycle accident

Kosciusko authorities are investigating a motorcycle accident that fatally injured a man Friday night.

Investigators say Todd Peterson drove off a road near County Road 600, when he struck a utility pole. An officer on patrol found Peterson, 44, in the roadway.

A fatal reconstruction accident investigation team determined the 2005 Harley Davidson was westbound on Indiana 19, and left the westbound lanes.

The accident is under investigation, police said.
