Two Paw Paw men arrested for multiple break-ins

Many of the items they’re accused of stealing have been recovered and now two Paw Paw men have been arrested for numerous pole barn break-ins and a home invasion in Van Buren County.

The incidents occurred from late March through mid April. Two of the investigations were handled by Michigan State Police; others were handled by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested and charged were Johnathan Wood, 19, for home invasion, safe breaking and breaking/entering, and Gregory Jones, 18, for home invasion and safe breaking.

A 20-year-old Paw Paw man is under investigation in connection with the incidents.

District Court appearances for Jones and Wood are set for Wednesday.
