A Rochester, Ind., woman was arrested Friday and taken to jail after trying to have a prescription filled — an attempt police say was fraud.

The 26-year-old woman went to the Kroger grocery store on North Michigan Street about 10:20 a.m., police say, and tried to get the pharmacy to fill the prescription for the controlled substance.

But the pharmacy notified Plymouth Police instead — and the woman was located and taken to the Marshall County Jail, according to a press release.

The woman’s name has been withheld pending formal charges.
