2 taken to hospital after U.S. 31 crash in St. Joseph County

U.S. 31 just south of New Road in St. Joseph County was closed and traffic was diverted after a collision between two vehicles closed the highway down late Tuesday afternoon.

Two people were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. Traffic was diverted at New and Osborne roads until about 5:15 p.m. All roads have been reopened.
