Mentone Police find 115 bags of cocaine during traffic stop

Westley Ray caught the attention of Mentone Police when he drove left of center on Indiana 19 at 700 South early Friday morning.

A resulting search of the pickup truck Ray was driving turned up 115 bags of cocaine, according to a police report.

Ray, 25, of Wabash, and Travis Stafford, 25, of Lafontaine, were both arrested. In addition to felony possession charges, Stafford also had a probation violation warrant from LaPorte County.

Both men were taken to Kosciusko County Jail, each held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
