By WSBT 24/7 News

Police have not yet released the names of two people killed just before 4 p.m. Friday in a two-car collision east of Goshen.

Two of three people in one car, including the driver and a back seat passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to an Elkhart County Sheriff's Department report. That car was being driven south on County Road 37, but the driver disregarded the stop sign at the County Road 34 intersection, according to police.

Another passenger in that vehicle was airlifted to Memorial Hospital of South Bend. There is no information available about their condition.

The other driver, 28-year-old Saul Pedroza of Goshen, was taken to Goshen General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
