One person was detained following the raid of a suspected drug operation in Mishawaka.

The raid happened at 5:26 p.m. Friday in the Village Green mobile home community. That’s on the south side of town near 12th Street and Byrkit Avenue.

Mishawaka 911 dispatch said officers were sent to assist a special operations undercover drug team at a home in the 1600 block of Fall Creek Drive.

Officers removed one person from the scene but authorities did not specify any charges or other details.

The officers were believed to be investigating a meth lab, but the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit in Bremen had no additional information available on the case early Sunday.
