Two children were flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne following an all-terrain vehicle crash in Fulton County.

The boys — a 14-month-old toddler from Warsaw, and a 13-year-old from Argos — remained in serious condition early Tuesday, according to hospital staff.

Dakota Garcia and the teenager, Dylan Lewis, were passengers on the ATV when it collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Indiana 14 and County Road 650 East about 8:15 p.m. Monday.

That’s in the community of Athens, about 4 miles east of Rochester, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department reports in a press release.

Police say Angelita Garcia, 18, of Warsaw, was driving the ATV and failed to stop at a stop sign. She collided with the westbound pickup, driven by Morse Utter, 83, of Rochester.

The boys were thrown from the ATV on impact.

Angelita Garcia was treated at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester for injuries not expected to be life-threatening. Utter was not injured, police said.

There was no word on any charges in the case.
