One man lost an eye as a result of being shot during an argument over a dice game early Thursday in Benton Harbor.

Two men were shot during the 2 a.m. argument at a second-floor unit in River Terrace Apartments, according to the Benton Harbor Police Department. While the argument was going on inside the apartment, the shots were fired into the apartment from outside.

Both men were taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The man who lost an eye was later transported to a University of Michigan Health System facility for treatment.

Police ask anyone with information about the shootings to call the Benton Harbor Police Tip Line at (269) 927-8415.
