Three different fires were reported overnight in South Bend, but fortunately none of them resulted in any reports of injuries.

A fire in the 700 block of South Meade Street was reported at 10:50 p.m., city dispatch said. That fire took two hours before firefighters left the scene.

Around the time they finished up there, residents evacuated a home in the 1200 block of North O'Brien Street.

That fire was reportedly cooking-related and quickly investigated. Crews left that scene just after 1:30 a.m. without further incident.

But at 5:07 a.m., the trucks were called out again for a fire in the 900 block of West Beale Street.

They arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the home, according to initial reports.

Firefighters were still on the scene 30 minutes later, dispatch said.

A fire investigator was called to determine the cause on Beale Street.
