Chikaming Township Police investigate near drowning

A 45-year-old Illinois woman was pulled from Lake Michigan Sunday in a near drowning incident.

Chikaming Township Police officer Todd Taylor Sr., told SBT24/7News the woman was taken to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Mich. This is no information available on her condition.

The incident happened at 2:52 p.m. near the 15000 block of Lakeshore Boulevard in Lakeside, Mich.
