SOUTH BEND — It appears there will be a change at the top at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. WSBT has learned CEO Nancy Hellyer will resign.

A hospital spokesperson would neither confirm nor deny the report Thursday night, but a source says Hellyer informed the Hospital Board Thursday that she is stepping down for personal reasons.

Hellyer is not expected to leave her job before the end of the year due to the hospital's move to its new facility in Mishawaka.
