HOWE, Ind. (AP) — A principal at Howe Military School in northern Indiana has been charged with having sexual encounters with a 14-year-old male student.

State troopers arrested 37-year-old Andrew Majewski on felony charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child seduction. Investigators say the acts are alleged to have happened in recent months at a private home, not on the school's campus in the LaGrange County town of Howe.

Majewski was in the LaGrange County Jail Friday pending his initial court appearance. The Associated Press left a message seeking comment from his attorney Sue Glick.

Majewski has directed summer camps at the private school and been principal of grades 5 through 8. Howe's superintendent says Majewski has been suspended pending the outcome of the charges.
