TWELVE MILE, Ind. ― Indiana State Police-Peru District are reporting Plymouth resident Terry Wiles died Friday afternoon from vehicle accident injuries he received Sept. 29.

Police said Wiles, 53, was driving eastbound on County Road 550 North, west of County Road 1050 East in Cass County, Indiana. His car left the road and rolled three times, traveling approximately 270 feet into the field.

Wiles was flown from the scene by Life Line Helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Police said he was wearing a seat belt that kept him from being ejected from the vehicle, but suffered what is believed to be a life-threatening head injury.
