SOUTH BEND — An 18-year-old South Bend woman told police that two armed males stole her purse and cell phones late Saturday in the 3300 block of South High Street.

The woman was driving her 17-year-old boyfriend and two other friends, ages 17 and 18, to pick up an acquaintance at about 9:30 p.m. on South High Street.

Upon arrival, she said the acquaintance told the group to drive to the back of the apartment complex.

That’s when two unknown males with guns approached the car, according to the woman.

One, wearing a Halloween mask, pointed a gun at the head of the victim’s boyfriend, demanding their money and belongings, the woman told police.

The other suspect struck another 17-year-old male in the car in the back of the head with a gun. The suspects fled on foot.
