Fulton County couple arrested in marijuana bust

A Fulton County couple was arrested Tuesday night following a monthlong marijuana investigation.

The Indiana State Police went to the home, in the 2500 block of Indiana 19 in Akron, after obtaining a search warrant. Along with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and Rochester Police, they found 61 marijuana plants along with processed marijuana and paraphernalia.

The pair, Elizabeth L. Zimpleman, 46, and Randy Zimpleman, 48, was taken to the Fulton County Jail following the arrests.

They face charges that include cultivating marijuana and possession.
