SOUTH BEND — A 22-year-old South Bend woman was treated at a local hospital for a stab wound, and two women and a teenager were arrested in the incident Sunday evening.

Police were called to the 1000 block of West Laurel Court about 8:30 p.m. because of an argument and fight.

According to a police report, the fight started because the residents of one home accused residents of another home of breaking a window.

A 22-year-old woman told police another woman stabbed her in the head with a kitchen knife. The victim was taken to the hospital for stitches, according to the report.

A 20-year-old woman, a 25-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.

Police said they had been called to the home because of fights twice in the past.
