1 injured in Toll Road rollover

A semi truck sits in the median Thursday morning on the Indiana Toll Road five miles west of the South Bend West exit. Indiana State Police at the scene said the driver was eastbound and went off the south side of the eastbound lane before driving over both lanes, ending up in the median. Rescuers responded to the eastbound lanes of the Indiana Toll Road in western St. Joseph County on Thursday morning.

Preliminary word is a semi flipped over at the 67 mile marker. Indiana State Police at the scene said the driver was eastbound and went off the south side of the eastbound lane before driving over both lanes, ending up in the median.

The driver was talking and conscious at the scene, and was airlifted to Memorial Hospital, police said.

The crash happened a little before 10 a.m.
