Missing sex offender sought by Michigan State Police

Michigan State Police-Bridgman Post want to find a missing sex offender.

  • Alfonso Gibbs, 32, formerly of Benton Township, was released June 29. Since his release, he failed to report a current address as required.

    The Berrien County Prosecutor has issued warrants for his arrest. Gibbs was previously convicted of criminal sexual conduct in 1996, drug crimes, domestic violence and prior Michigan Sex Offender Registry Act violations, according to police.

    Anyone with information on Gibbs’ whereabouts is asked to call Michigan State Police-Bridgman Post at (269) 465-3111.
