Police investigate shooting outside Goshen store

GOSHEN — Police are investigating a shooting outside the Meijer store on Elkhart Road.

Goshen Police and Fire Departments were dispatched at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday night to the rear of the store after reports a man had been shot in his upper torso.

Police found Abdulhussain Alfartusi, 43, of Goshen, with a gunshot wound. He was air lifted to an area hospital in serious condition, but police say he is now in stable condition.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the case to call Goshen Police Department at 574-533-8661 or Crime Stoppers at 288-STOP.
