Tip leads to arrest in South Bend bank robbery

SOUTH BEND ― Police say they have arrested a suspect in an October 22 robbery of a Fifth Third Bank branch at 301 N. Main Street.

Willie B. Neal Jr., 46, was caught after a police received a tip from a citizen who recognized him from a surveillance photo taken during the robbery and dispersed to the media.
