A man who was arrested for drunk driving in Porter County pretty much admitted it wasn't his first time loaded behind the wheel.

About 2:15 Thursday morning a concerned citizen called police about a truck being driven erratically on State Road 149 and 1000 North.

A trooper stopped 24-year-old Zachary Duis of Portage and found an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Portage Police Department for a certified breath test.

While at the station, Duis stated to the trooper, "Dude, I do this every night; I'm straight up and not drunk!"

His blood alcohol was almost four times Indiana's legal limit. Duis was also wanted on two warrants for misdemeanors.
