Dense fog advisory for northern Indiana, southern lower Michigan

The National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory at 5 a.m. Sunday for northern Indiana and southern lower Michigan.

Motorists are urged to be cautious – slow down and use low-beam headlights – as visibilities will suddenly drop to a few hundred feet.

Patchy fog may be dense, particularly in low-lying areas and near lakes and rivers.

Fog is expected to quickly dissipate after sunrise at 6:30 a.m.
