Fire Burns Vacant House near Rum Village

(WSBT) Investigators are searching for the cause of an early morning fire at a vacant home.

It happened in the 2000 block of Swygart Avenue near Rum Village in South Bend.

Fire crews were called just before 2 a.m. Thursday.

Rescuers went through the house to make sure no one was inside.

Fire investigators have not said what might have started the fire.
