Police Arrest Calif. Man in Notre Dame Federal Credit Union Phishing Scam

By Beth Boehne

(WSBT) Police in California arrested a man they say is responsible for scamming dozens of people in our area.

They say he sent a nationwide email last week asking Notre Dame Federal Credit Union members to take a survey.

It asked for credit card numbers and other personal information.

Police say the man made 18 debit cards and pin numbers from the information.

The credit union is re-issuing cards for about 60 members who took the survey.
