Stoffer, please explain how combining four financially struggling fire departments (yours being the worst off due to overspending) into one creates anything but one big broke fire department??? Who is going to run the department? You cannot even make a decision on fire chief for your own department (which is why you had to name 3 chiefs) so how do you expect to choose a administrator for this proposed territory? None of the other 3 fire departments involved are interested, so good luck!
