The following release was issued Friday by Kosciusko County police:
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives have filed additional charges on a Pierceton man that was arrested early Wednesday morning south of North Webster.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives have filed two additional felony burglary and two additional felony theft charges on Joshua Todd Eyer, 28, Pierceton. Detectives have concluded that Eyer was involved in three recent burglaries, along with an auto theft in Kosciusko County. One of the suspected burglaries is believed to have been committed recently at the Barbee Landing where cash was allegedly stolen. Eyer’s bond has subsequently been raised to $15,000.00. He still remains in the custody of the Kosciusko County Jail currently.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
