DUNLAP -

The Concord High School Marching Band is preparing for one of the biggest shows in the world.

They hit the practice field at 6:45 a.m. Friday to get ready for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

"Definitely, a lot of hard work, being out in the snow, being out in the cold," said Concord senior Bria Prugh. "Our band is doing awesome, giving it their all, and we're ready to go out there and rock it."

This year's parade will be the 7th appearance for the Marching Minutemen.

The band has two more practices next week before leaving for New York.
