DETROIT (AP) -

Detroit police say three people have died in overnight shootings.

They tell WWJ-AM that a male and a female believed to be in their teens were fatally shot about 3:45 a.m. Sunday on the city's west side. Police say someone forced the victims from a car before shooting them.

Police say a man was shot to death at the Smith Homes public housing project on the city's west side. They say another person was pistol-whipped.

No arrests have been reported in the killings.
