Math, science and English are all good subjects for students to learn, but Pinewood Elementary had a lesson on Friday in bullying awareness.
Saturday is International Day of Peace, but the school decided to celebrate on Friday.
Students dressed up, made anti-bullying posters and carried peace signs.
There was an assembly in the gym where kids were reminded of the school's anti-bullying policies and why bullying is a bad thing.
"I learned that you should help others when they're being bullied and not watch it happen and that you also shouldn't be a bully, because it's mean, and you wouldn't want it to happen to yourself, so don't do it to others," said 6th grader Ellie Malloy.
After the assembly, students marched around the hallways for peace and got stamps on their hands to remind them about putting an end to bullying.
