WARSAW -

The Warsaw area is a bit waterlogged after a huge downpour early Thursday night.

StaceyPageOnline.com reported Warsaw police and fire crews were called to the parking lot area near the Warsaw License Branch for reports of a vehicle nearly submerged in water. A 911 call placed to dispatch noted people were inside the vehicle yelling for help.

Warsaw Police arriving first on scene reported the subjects were able to get out of the vehicle.

The Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center tells WSBT there were a number of vehicles nearly submerged in water. The water was that high because of the heavy rain.

Flooding and standing water problems were reported throughout Kosciusko County, and emergency officials are warning people not to drive through flood waters.
