NEW CARLISLE -

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating Sunday after a teen was found dead outside a home in New Carlisle.

Lt. Matt Blank tells WSBT officers responded to the 51000 block of Timothy Road around 8:30 Sunday morning after an 18-year-old male was found dead outside the home.

The teen has been identified as Andrew Jerome Tarquino, Jr.

Police say Tarquino was at a party the night before at the home on Timothy Road. Homicide detectives say they have interviewed several juveniles and one adult male who also attended the party.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the death, Blank says Metro Homicide is investigating.

An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon.
