No doubt the Ebola outbreak has been a hot topic of conversation, especially in the past few days.
But this morning some people are raising questions about some comments from an Indiana congressman on how the deadly disease relates to the border crisis.
According to the Huffington Post, Republican Congressman Todd Rokita suggested immigrant children from Central America could be carrying Ebola.
Rokita made these comments on an Indianapolis radio show yesterday.
He told WIBC he, along with other officials, sent a letter to the president asking for more details about the hundreds of migrant children staying with sponsors in Indiana right now.
He stressed the importance of knowing the children’s' conditions.
The Huffington Post also points out there are no documented cases of Ebola in the Western Hemisphere and none of the children who have come over the border in their flight from violence in South America have the disease.
