Authorities have charged two men with crimes related to the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old Wayne State University law student, whose body was found near Detroit's long-abandoned Packard plant.
Forty-one-year-old Michael Booker and 34-year-old Robert Windsor were arrested Wednesday after police caught them with the cellphone of Tiane Brown. The body of the mother of three was found the same day in a vacant lot near the former auto plant.
Booker's charges include assault and battery, tampering with evidence, breaking into motor vehicle and larceny. Both he and Windsor are charged with receiving and concealing stolen property under $1,000.
They are scheduled to be arraigned Saturday morning at a district court in suburban Romulus.
It wasn't immediately clear if they had attorneys.
Brown lived in Oakland County's Waterford Township.
