Home Depot in Mishawaka is back open for business. It had been closed since Thursday when deep snow and heavy rain caused four massive roof trusses to crack and nearly give way.

There was no cave-in, but the store was evacuated and remained closed until early this morning.

The Home Depot store manager says there's lots of credit to be shared in getting open again.

"We are confident today we're giving a safe environment to our associates and our customers and just welcome everybody back," said Andrea Cassel.

Cassel says they were able to help some customers with phone orders while the building was closed. And she says the company took care of" the employees who couldn't work while the work to repair the roof meant the store had to remain closed.
