A hot, muggy day filled with lots of smiles and hugs.
381 ladies are enrolled as freshmen and are part of the Class of 2018 at Saint Mary's College.
On Thursday, they moved in to their dorms on campus, preparing for orientation. Many of them had a little help from their parents.
"A little sad, but we're excited for her," described Jeff Enlow, whose daughter is enrolled at Saint Mary's. "It's going to be a great experience."
"I can't wait," exclaimed freshman Sydney Enlow. "Been a nervous week, but ready to go. They said it's actually not too bad. It was a lot less than they thought I was going to bring."
The first day of classes is on Monday.
The Class of 2018 has students from 30 states and four countries.
Notre Dame students are also returning to campus. Their first day of classes is set for Tuesday.
