If you happened to be up around 3 a.m. to 4 p.m. this morning, you saw a total lunar eclipse that turned the moon a burnt reddish orange. It's called a blood moon, and it's just the first in a series of four consecutive total eclipses. Within a year and a half, North America will be able to see a blood moon a total of four times.
