MASHALL COUNTY -

A Plymouth man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine, and three years on a separate count of neglect of a dependent.

Police say 37-year-old James Corbett II admitted in court that he manufactured the drug at his home in the 300 block of W. Washington Street.

He also admitted that he exposed a six-year-old child in his care to the operation.

After serving an arrest warrant, police were given permission to search the home from Corbett and his wife. Officers found seven "one pot" meth labs and several hydrochloric acid generators used to create the drug.

Interviews revealed the meth was manufactured on an almost daily basis.

The child was originally placed under the protection of Child Protective Services.
