SOUTH BEND -

Two overnight convenience store robberies have led to the arrest of an 18-year-old South Bend man. Police have now identified that man as Reshawn Seward.

The two robberies happened at a 7 Eleven on the 1800 block of S. Miami Street and Country Convenience Store on the 6200 block of S. US 31.

In both cases, police say Seward displayed a hand gun. No one was injured in either incident.

South Bend Police Capt. Phil Trent says officers were able to track the suspect to a home near Southland Avenue after an eye-witness to the robbery on US 31 followed Seward vehicle.

Trent says when the suspect's vehicle got stuck in the snow, Seward took off on foot. His foot prints led police to the home.

Seward gave himself up without incident, according to Trent.

He is currently being held in the St. Joseph County jail.
