Preliminary findings in an autopsy on a man found murdered in the front yard of his South Bend home shows that he died from multiple gunshot wounds. That’s according to a release issued by Metro Homicide just before noon today.

She called 911 When first responders got to his house at 3911 Roxebury Plaza, they discovered Flowers was dead.
Police had much of the area, which is south of Lincolnway off Sheridan on the west side of South Bend, blocked off with crime scene tape.
At one point they towed the victim’s vehicle from the scene but investigators say it is unclear if that car is related.
Neighbors say this murder is a shock.
“Around 12 we heard some pops,” said Dawn Sleck-Ward, who lives nearby. “I got up to get some water. Went back to bed and we heard the ambulance come through the neighborhood.”
“My husband walked outside and he was like ‘What is going on?’ They were like, ‘It’s an open investigation. We can't say anything. Just go back in the house.’
