The Midwest League of Professional Baseball Clubs has announced Silver Hawks’ Team President, Joe Hart, as the 2013 Executive of the Year.

The award is voted on by other member clubs of the Midwest League and then presented to the individual who has had a successful season in the areas of leadership, attendance accomplishments, marketing initiatives, promotions, stadium projects/enhancements, game day and non-game day events, community/charity involvement and overall baseball operations.

Since joining the Silver Hawks’ in 2012 Hart has led the organization to increase total attendance from 112,795 in 2011 to 245,471 in 2013. Hart has doubled the attendance in his 2nd season with the Silver Hawks. The 2013 season is the 2nd highest regular season attendance in Silver Hawks’ franchise history.
