This morning a judge sentenced 37-year-old Joseph Fuentes to 50 years in prison for shooting at police.
A jury convicted him last month on five charges, including attempted murder and resisting police.
A year ago today police say they were called to a disturbance on Ford Street. They say Fuentes drove off, crashed and then shot at an officer.
No one was hurt.
Another man at the scene was convicted of intimidation for his role and sentenced to six months.
