A South Bend man was killed in a crash near Holland, Michigan today.
It happened just after noon on westbound I-196 near the Adams Street exit in Holland Township.
Ottawa County Sheriff's officials say 50-year-old Randall Spriggs of South Bend was killed when his car slammed into the back of a semi.
Deputies say the semi slowed down as traffic merged into one lane at a construction zone. They say, just before the crash, dispatchers took a call saying Spriggs' car was weaving around in its lane and had crossed the fog line (solid white line on the side of the road) several times.
