SOUTH BEND -

If you plan to park a car in South Bend the next couple of days, the city is issuing a warning.

Because of the heavy snow that pelted our area, street crews are trying to clear all the white stuff from the roads and need your help.

The city plans to enforce snow emergency parking regulations Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, parking will not be allowed on any South Bend street that goes east and west, while on Thursday -- starting at 6 a.m. -- the city will prohibit parking on north-south streets.

That's so street crews can clear those roads.

Any vehicle in the way will be tagged by the South Bend Police Department and may be towed.
