A special night for a local town, as a well-known city hall icon is retiring.
CC the Nappanee Cat is calling it a career.
The cat has lived at city hall for about 14 years after the police chief found him wandering the streets during a snow storm.

Mayor Larry Thompson says the cat has to go to the vet, but could soon live at the Elder House, which is a retirement home for people.
He says it wasn't unusual for CC to attend city council meetings and even walk across the desk during the meeting, surprising new visitors
