CANDIA, N.H. (AP) — Two 4-year-olds were unharmed after wandering more than a mile away from the reindeer pen at Charmingfare Farm.

The children were missing for about 45 minutes before they were found by Candia police walking down a trail "like nothing was wrong" around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported.

Charmingfare Farm owner John Pyteraf said the children, a boy and a girl, did not know each other before meeting at the farm. He said they began their journey at the reindeer pen in the middle of the zoo exhibit.

The Candia Fire Department, New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, New Hampshire State Police and other area police departments had been called in to assist with the search. The property is bordered by hundreds of acres of woodlands.
