JOLIET, Ill. (AP) — A Will County man accused of attacking four female victims in separate incidents has been found guilty of trying to kidnap a teenage girl.

A jury deliberated for about an hour before convicting 43-year-old John Pitts of Joliet of attempted kidnapping and aggravated battery.

Prosecutors said he grabbed the victim and tried to force her into his vehicle in October 2005 as she walked home from work at a fast food restaurant.

Earlier this year, Pitts was sentenced to 90 years in prison after being convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault.

He's charged in cases involving attacks on two other women. He faces up to five years in prison when he's sentenced on Dec. 18 for the attempted kidnapping.
