COLFAX TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Talk about a stalker.
A thief made off with 250 pounds of asparagus belonging to a farmer in Oceana County's Colfax Township.
Michigan State Police Sgt. Mike Cookenmaster tells The Muskegon Chronicle the picked asparagus was sitting in large plastic trays on the side of the road Thursday when the theft occurred.
It was waiting for trucks to come and take it for processing and sale.
The culprit took multiple trays of asparagus worth about $200.
Police have no suspects.
