FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (AP) — A peacock has taken up residence in a Detroit suburb and people there are trying to figure out where it came from.
WXYZ-TV reports (http://bit.ly/Utoufy ) it was contacted by employees of a Farmington Hills doctor's office about the bird, which they had been feeding recently.
Peacocks are found at places including zoos in Michigan. There's some concern that the peacock might not survive after wintry weather arrives.
The office is seeking an agency to take the bird.
